We are located 2 hours north of Idaho’s capital city, Boise. We absolutely love it here in the mountains of central Idaho! Cascade is a small population of only 1,000 residents, but we boast the tagline “The Gateway to Adventure!” Our community is focused on seeking God through the exploration and enjoyment of His creation, as well as the completion of the great commission amongst the unreached people groups of the world.
Oh, these vast, calm, measureless mountain days, days in whose light everything seems equally divine, opening a thousand windows to show us God.
What to expect
Have you ever wanted to live in a train depot in the mountains? Our campus features a renovated train depot, which houses our students as well as several staff members. Overlooking the mountains and the Payette river, our depot is a hub for community and adventure.
If you happen to join us for our winter season here in the Cascade mountains, you will experience a winter wonderland with outdoor activities galore! Skiing, snowboarding, backcountry exploration, ice fishing, and snowmobiling fill our weekend activities.
Our base is surrounded by mountains. Covered in snow in the winter, and flowers in the summer, our campus is at the foothills of incredible hiking, backpacking, fishing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and huckleberry picking. You will have the opportunity to explore these mountains, and hike the trails that surround.
Living in the mountains, it is common to see incredible wildlife. Deer, elk, cougars, wolves, foxes, eagles, and bears live in our surrounding mountains. Getting to interact with these animals in safe and respectful ways is an incredible experience that you will get to take part in!
