What is the SOAP?

The SOAP (School of Apostolic Pioneering) is an intensely practical twelve week course that will equip you in how to start new ministries. It offers a unique opportunity to be led and taught by those who have themselves answered this call. They will teach Biblical concepts of pioneering as well as share practical lessons from their personal experiences. Once these 12 weeks are completed the graduates will be given the opportunity to partner with existing YWAM bases and ministries to multiply them especially (although not exclusively) in places that currently have no YWAM ministries. We have partnerships with a variety of pioneers and base leaders to achieve this end.

Who can benefit from the SOAP?

Students: for those who have the heart of a pioneer and have the perseverance and tenacity to face the challenges of starting new ministries in a new age. We will demonstrate what it truly means to be apostolic and equip you to fulfill your apostolic calling.

Base and Ministry leaders: can send students who have an interest in pioneering new initiatives in their region to do the SOAP. Each student will form an in-depth project to pioneer a new ministry with the intention to implement the project upon graduation with a sending base.
